It is with a mix of joy and sadness that I am writing this letter to you.
If you have been to my office in the past 6 months, you will be aware that I have made the difficult decision to retire from my practice in Seattle by early September 2015. I will be leaving Seattle to relocate to British Columbia, Canada to spend precious time with my family. My father is turning 92 this year and is still in good health.
I will be leaving my practice in the capable hands of Dr. Reanna Plancich. Dr. Plancich has been practicing NUCCA for the past 5 years, and many of you may have met her as she has practiced from my office for the past 2 and1/2 years. Dr. Plancich is a very dedicated young woman who is passionate about her work in the NUCCA world.
As an active level 2 candidate, Dr. Plancich’s education and development is only shared by .0003% of the US chiropractic profession.
Dr. Plancich graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West. During her time at LCCW she was a three-time recipient of the “Intern of the Month” award.
Her clinical emphasis revolves around neurological function and how it relates to the alignment of the upper neck. As a proponent of specific upper cervical chiropractic care, Dr. Plancich emphasizes the importance of achieving and maintaining optimal health through a properly functioning nervous system. “Chiropractic is bigger than back pain; it’s about your whole health: it’s about addressing the cause of dis-ease and dysfunction and restoring your health.”
Dr. Plancich sponsors the Orca Adoption program, which supports ongoing research and education about orcas and other marine mammals. She is also a member of the Washington State Trail Association and is a Seattle native. Dr. Plancich enjoys hiking, running, golfing, and traveling in her spare time.

The Spine Research Institute is one of the world’s leading organizations involved in whiplash research and education. Nearly 3 million whiplash injuries occur every year in the U.S., and almost half of those will experience long-term or permanent pain and disability. Dr. Plancich is learning the latest research and treatment for whiplash treatment protocols, to help more people in the Seattle area who are suffering with the effects of acute or chronic whiplash injuries.
