Dr. Margaret Munsey enjoys treating people of all backgrounds, whether their focus is on overcoming pain or a physical condition, improving general health, or optimizing athletic performance. Dr. Munsey has successfully treated patients of all ages: infants, children, teenagers, and adults. The conditions she treats include back pain, headaches, migraines, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, and sciatica. Other conditions that have resolved or improved in patients under her care include chronic ear infections, psoriasis, depression, insomnia, dizziness, chronic fatigue, digestive disturbances, and joint pain, among others.

Dr. Munsey was a massage and structural integration therapist prior to becoming a chiropractor. She also taught yoga, and remains active in her yoga practice. Dr. Munsey is married to Kyle Munsey, who also is from the Puget Sound area, and has worked as a manufacturing engineer at Boeing since 1986. Dr. Munsey has a history of mountain bike racing, telemark skiing, windsurfing, swimming competitively, hiking, sailing, and running. Dr. Munsey enjoys the opportunity to, once the patient’s body has reached stable balance, work with the patient on individualized nutritional needs and body mechanics so that optimal health and wellness can be achieved.

Dr. Munsey grew up in the Puget Sound area, and received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1989. Dr. Munsey studied massage at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, and Soma therapy at the Soma Institute in Buckley, Washington. She practiced in Seattle before moving to Alta, Wyoming, where she managed a resort spa and taught yoga. It was her own search for relief from debilitating pain that lead her to discover NUCCA chiropractic care. Dr. Munsey received her doctoral degree in chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College. She is an active member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. Dr. Margaret Munsey is a board member of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association.
