“I went to see Dr. Hoeller in 2003 when I wasn’t sick or injured.  There was nothing outwardly wrong, but I did have asthma, a chronic condition I’ve had for most of my life.  I went “proactively,” to see if Dr. Hoeller’s treatment could help. And I’d have to say: “Absolutely. Yes.” Is my asthma gone?  No, of course not.  But what has changed is this: I don’t really seem to get sick much any more, and when I do get a cold, it’s so mild I almost don’t notice.  Before starting treatment with Dr. Hoeller, getting a cold meant it would evolve into severe asthma, where my choice was taking an unpleasant course of prednisone, a nasty little steroid, or stopping breathing.  It was no choice, really, and every year it seemed I’d have to spend ten days on prednisone. But since I began adding NUCCA to my health care strategy, incidents of life-threatening asthma have been virtually nonexistent and my overall health is noticeably improved.  I don’t know why it works; it’s a mystery to me.  But I do know that my life is better, and because of this I continue to see Dr. Hoeller routinely.
